Trust and Your Dry Cleaner…Why Dry Cleaning Station could be right for you!

Today’s blog is going to be a little different than my last posts. It is going to be more about my company, Dry Cleaning Station Atlanta, than how to treat stains or the importance of dry cleaning. Why this inspiration? Simple. Whenever I am out and about, I am always amazed by two things. First, that most people do not know a service like mine exists; and two, how my services help people.

A typical conversation that occurs when I meet someone who has asked me what I do is this: “I own a dry cleaning service that offers free pick up and delivery”. You own a dry cleaning service they say with a puzzled look. “Yes I do.” The next question is usually a variation of  I have a stain on my blouse, pants, silk tie, curtains, bed spread, antique table cloth, etc. What should I do, how should I treat it and can you help me get the stain out?(On a side note, future posts will be about stains, stain removal, and how to take care of different fabrics). After I clarify their specific problem and discuss how dry cleaning and stain removal works, I am then asked where my store is located so they can drop off their item. This is where the conversation gets really good. I tell them, “I am located right on your front door step.” No really, they say I want to drop off my (insert problem) for you to clean. I then let them know that I offer free pick up and delivery to their home or business. After a second or two of thought, they say with a smile, I didn’t know a service like that existed.

Yes, a full service dry cleaning service with free pick up and delivery does exist! I discuss how I pick up and deliver their dry cleaning to their home or business saving them two trips to the dry cleaner every week, how I provide them a hook to hang on their door and a spiffy Dry Cleaning Station bag to put said laundry in. At which point I am usually asked, You hang my dry cleaning on my front door” and/or “how many times do you come to my house? Yes, I answer, I can hang your completed items on your front door or if you would like I can hang them in your garage. I come to your house twice a week for both pick up and delivery of your dry cleaning.

What if I do not have any dry cleaning the day you are scheduled to pick up at my house? Simple, I say, the day before I come to your house I send out a reminder notice. Just reply back to my notice and let me know you have something for me to pick up and I will be there. If you have nothing, just delete the email and I will see you next time.

How much more am I going to have to pay for this service I am asked.  A lot more I respond. (I love to watch their faces when I say this) Maybe a nickel to a dime more per item. A nickel to a dime more they say? That is it? How do I get started?

Simple. I will add you to my route and will drop off all the tools for us to get started!

Let’s face it. Going to the dry cleaner is not difficult. It is just a pain. You usually go when you HAVE to go, not because you enjoy going.

At Dry Cleaning Station, we not only save you the hassle of pick up and delivery, we provide great dry cleaning for all of your needs. To find out more about us, go to: Dry Cleaning Station Atlanta
